One alleged reason the last election turned out the way it did was because potential coalitions were not created since the individual parties were too attached to their agendas and had no compromising vision.
The left lost because of this. The right became extremely right because probably nobody in the moderate zone wanted to partner with Netanyahu.
In short, the mayonnaise separated into its distinct parts and the coalition which was created is unrepresentative of a big part of the whole.

Egoic behavior prevented a more representative or moderate coalition.
And now we are dealing with the outcome. Some are very angry, while some are very scared. Some are outraged at the ethical breaches.
There is a plethora of feelings about what is happening and a bigger bi-partisan gap which does not appear to be narrowing.
Our minds want the answers now. Will it be a civil war, will it be a coup and what will the outcome be and how does that affect me. It is an unsettling uncertainty.
Now the Moody's devaluation, empirical proof that the coalition's proposed actions has already affected economic stability. Should I keep savings abroad? Should I leave the country?
This small country fought extremely hard for its existence. Most didn't have savings nor any other place to go to.
It is true that the judicial system has imperfections that need to be reformed but the current coalition is using it for there own narcissistic interests.
Again, they don't care or maybe even are unaware as to how their behavior affects other people and they neglect the true needs of the nation.
Clinging to party lines caused the left to lose, the interests of the moderates and their unwillingness to partner with the Likud leader, Netanyahu, placed them on the outside and the remaining extremists, including convicted criminals except for the Prime Minister, are now hooked on their self-interests.
All of them narcissistically swarming around their particular message, without a united vision, without a well-defined plan which endeavors to serve the greater good.
It's interest group politics gone viral.
What's the message here for us all? What happened to tolerance, pluralism, and most importantly, unity as in "Hear O Israel..." As the extremist, hawkish coalition began to ramp up in terms of its tough message to our Arab cousins, sadly, the extremists among our cousins became more militant as they felt threatened.
First two Jewish brothers were killed, then two sisters, and now a brother and a sister. Political agendas on both sides have destroyed our brotherhood/sisterhood or our greater national family life.
We can freeze or be caught up in one emotion or another or we can reach out from a place of faith and compassion. First, we might connect with our own agendas, our own egoic needs, and make peace with our inner life, especially our fears and hatreds. Then we can reach out with compassion to the other who holds different views and try to understand and ultimately unite around common humanistic and existential needs.
All this power-hungry ego, this shouting of "ME, ME, ME, first," creates more and more separation.
Don't forget the wisdom of our faith and ancestry which tells us, "G-d is ONE!" We are one family, one love consciousness, and the current state of affairs we have created is painfully pointing us back to the family of man, to the ONE, to the truth. Do we really need to re-create this suffering scene anymore? Each one of us should make their own new contract with him 1or herself and then peak outside to see who else is available to connect with. Otherwise, the moment you incite violence or have violent intentions or commit acts of violence, either in this realm or even in the less than material realm, you will get this karma back in your face until you get it right.
